Research of Taiwanese Gastronomy


S3TW was commissioned by the iSee Taiwan Foundation to conduct research on Taiwanese cuisine. Our research team included domestic catering experts from National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Providence University, Fu Jen Catholic University, Tunghai University, and the Foundation for Chinese Dietary Culture. We conducted in-depth investigations into classic prototypes of Taiwanese fold-over buns, tastes of Taiwanese cuisine, Taiwanese customs and practices, awareness of Taiwanese cuisine, and successful cases of international cuisine exportation. We also established relevant social networks which contributed to discovery of Taiwanese gastronomy and global marketing.
