In order to enhance domestic research in service science, the S3TW successively sponsored the “Service Science Junior Scholar Awards” and “Service Science International Collaboration Awards” through the Sayling Wen Cultural & Educational Foundation.

The Service Science Junior Scholar Awards rewards young domestic academics or doctoral candidates for the purposes of conducting short-term research on service science topics at internationally renowned academic or research institutions, in hopes that they can expand their horizons, cultivate knowledge, connect with international academic networks associated with service science research, and enhance their research potential. A total of 29 young academics received this award from 2008 to 2015.

The Service Science International Collaboration Awards encourages domestic academics with research potential to actively participate in international academic research relating to service science and innovative issues for the purposes of enhancing Taiwan's service science visibility and academic research standards in the international academic community. A total of 22 academics received this award from 2009 to 2015.
