The Service Science Society of Taiwan signed MoU with Society for Serviceology

The Service Science Society of Taiwan(S3TW) and Society for Serviceology in Japan(SfS) initiated international conference ICSSI 2018 & ICServ 2018 in Taichung, Taiwan at November 13th to November 15th, 2018. At the same time, the president of S3TW, Prof. Ting-Peng Liang, signed an MoU with the president of SfS, Prof. Kazuyoshi Hidaka, expecting Taiwan and Japan both sides became more closely, have more chance to collaborate and get more communication opportunity about transnational research, academic achievements and practical experience.

SfS aims to contribute to efforts concerning various industrial issues by organizing the vast knowledge of services, and to establish“academics for the society”relating to services. With this goal, the Society was named“service-ology,”meaning the study of services, and it will lead the efforts to develop a community in which researchers from various areas such as social sciences, human sciences, and engineering sciences can communicate, respect each other, and improve through friendly competition.
